Privacy Policy

1. Scope and operator

This policy applies to the SaveForge website and game save editing services operated by Rululu-Studio.

SaveForge does not offer accounts, profiles, payments, or comments and does not ask visitors to submit their name or contact details to use the editor.

2. Information we process

Depending on how you use the service and your technical environment, the following information may be processed:

• The contents and name of a game save file you select, to decode, edit, and re-encode it.
• Connection data that may appear in hosting or security logs, such as IP address, request time, URL, referrer, browser, operating system, device information, response status, and errors.
• Cookie identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions, and consent choices that may be processed by Google.
• Your email address, message, and our response if you contact us.

3. Purposes and legal bases

In the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and other regions where consent is required, Google CMP is used to request advertising consent. Essential service and security processing may rely on performing your request and our legitimate interests in operating a secure service.

• Fulfil your request to decode, edit, and generate a save file.
• Diagnose errors, maintain availability, prevent abuse, and respond to security incidents.
• Respond to requests and resolve disputes.
• Provide and measure advertising where you consent or applicable law otherwise permits it.

4. Retention

• Save files: the SaveForge application does not place uploaded files or edited contents in a database or persistent file store. They pass temporarily through memory and hosting infrastructure while a request is handled and cannot be retrieved from the application after the response.
• Technical logs may be retained under the hosting or security provider’s default settings, or for as long as needed for security incidents and legal obligations, and are then deleted or de-identified under the provider’s policies.
• Support correspondence is retained only as long as needed to answer the request, resolve disputes, or satisfy legal obligations.
• Advertising and consent data is retained according to Google settings, your choices, and Google policies.

5. Service providers and international processing

SaveForge uses Vercel for hosting, content delivery, request processing, and infrastructure security, and Google AdSense and Google CMP for advertising, measurement, invalid-traffic prevention, and consent management.

Connection data, technical logs, cookies, and advertising information may therefore be processed electronically in the United States and other countries where these providers operate infrastructure. Locations and retention periods are governed by their current privacy documents and service settings.

SaveForge does not provide the contents of your game save file to Google for advertising. The file request does, however, pass through the infrastructure hosting SaveForge.

6. Cookies, personalized ads, and consent

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to SaveForge or other websites. Google advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to sites on the Internet.

You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings and can delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking cookies may limit advertising or consent-management features.

Google CMP may display a consent message to eligible visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. Where available, use the message’s privacy options to review or change your choice.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent. Information held directly by Google or Vercel may need to be managed through that provider’s privacy tools.

Email studio.rululu@gmail.com to make a request. We may ask for the minimum information needed to verify you or an authorized representative.

8. Security

No Internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure. Back up your original save before editing and avoid placing unnecessary personal information in a save file.

• HTTPS encryption in transit.
• A data-minimizing design that does not intentionally persist save files.
• API error handling and limited service access.
• Hosting-provider access controls, monitoring, and infrastructure protections.

9. Children

SaveForge does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. A parent or guardian who believes a child’s information has been processed may contact us to request deletion.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the service, providers, or applicable laws change. Material changes will be announced clearly on the site before they apply, and the effective date above will be updated.
